Eric and Francoise FOUILHE set up their company 20 years ago in Crest 28km (18 miles) from Valence in South East of France. The sun, the nearby mountains and the sea swept us away from our birth town of Paris. Our luthier enterprise of accessories for violin and Quatuor was established after having accomplished 10 years as luthiers of traditional and baroque ( Court Musette, hurdy gurdy, flutes). In the beginning, we made simple traditional pegs and tailpieces in Boxwood or in Ebony. There became a demand for very fine instruments since we have made the accessories for 30 or more Stradivari . We had the sensation of becoming " tailors for the haute couture". |
Today, we employ 5 people in the workshop : Dominique, Raphael, Francoise, Patrick and Eric. We work for clients all over the world, from the most simple piece to the finer reproduction pieces, and from standard to individual requirements. Our accessories equipe antique collections, new hand made violin and even early instruments. | |
